Spanish Macks & Snapper: New Pass, Bonita Beach

Postby fishbuster » Sat Aug 16, 2003 2:02 pm

8)I fished Monday with Robert Menendez and girlfriend, Karen, 12 miles southwest of New Pass, using live shrimp. We caught two limits of keeper mangrove snapper, Spanish mackerel to 26 inches, porkfish & grunts, and released ladyfish and jack cravalle.

Tuesday, the Beck family, who fished last week with me at the 240 Ledge, fished again, this time 12 miles southwest of New Pass—We tried the Ledge first, but porpoise were around, so we headed to another spot. We caught 20 keeper mangrove snapper, a nice Spanish mackerel, triggerfish and grunts. We released grouper shorts. Find complete info and fish photo album at www.fishbustercharters.com
