Captain Jim Hobales was born and raised in South Florida. In the early years he learned to fish his home waters of Miami's Biscayne Bay and the Florida Keys. In the early 1980's he was introduced to Flamingo, at Everglades National Park, it was a life changing experience. Captain Jim became obsessed with the fishing in both Florida Bay as well as Whitewater Bay in the backcountry. Captain Jim is an Everglades National Park permitted guide and a Met registered guide.

I provide inshore & near shore light tackle sport fishing out of Lanark Village, Florida from Alligator Point to Dog Island to St. George Island. I specialize in trout, redfish, mackerel & tarpon. Sightseeing & scalloping trips are also available.

Fish in the trophy rich western basin of Lake Ontario located at Point Breeze on the Oak Orchard River, NY aboard a 31' hardtop Baha sport-fisherman. All tackle is provided. Fully equipped with sonars, radar, speed/temp, VHF-FM radio electric flush toilet and essential gear. US Coast Guard licensed since 1987 with over 30 years experience on Lake Ontario.
