Connecticut Fishing Guides & Charters

We do fly fishing and light tackle trips out of Stonington, CT. We fish the Watch Hill Reefs as far East as Newport, RI out to Montauk in the fall and West to the Connecticut River. We also cover the Race,the Sluiceway and Plum Gut. Depending on the time of the year we will be looking for Striped Bass, Bluefish, Bonito, False Albacore and Bluefin Tuna. On our trips we can provide everything except food and clothing.

Guiding since 1989, Capt Roger Gendron offers fly fishing & light tackle fishing for stripers, blues and more, about an hour from NYC. Excellent tackle and equipment, and easy access by car or train. A municipal airport is 15 minutes from dickside, with pick up available. Full days, half days, mornings and evenings.

I also offer Light Tackle diamond jigging and buck tailing trips for Striped Bass and Bluefish in the Race and Plum Gut. Fluke, Blackfish and Sea bass fishing. Evening Bass fishing trips to local Islands and reefs in eastern Long Island Sound. We are located in the mouth of the Connecticut River in Old Saybrook.
