Photo of the Week: Coho (Silver) Salmon fishing closes today, October 31st and I
thought it would be appropriate to end the season with a nice photo of a fresh Coho.
This fish was landed by Rudy Uli on one beautiful misty morning on the Kitimat River
back in September. His pro fishing guide was Mike Herzberg. He guided Rudy into
four Coho this day using Luhr Jensen Kwik Fish plugs. Mike is an associate fishing
guide for Ron Wakita of Reliable Guide and Charters The early Coho summer run
numbers were low but picked up as the season went on. The fall run was outstanding.
