Guided Steelhead Fishing Kalum River BC Canada

The photo of the week shows me with a male Steelhead landed a few years ago. The other gentleman is Italo Labignan of Canadian Sport Fishing www.canadian-sportfishing.com Over the years Italo and I have shot over 11 television fishing shows in northwest BC for both Steelhead and Salmon. We were doing a shoot on the Kalum River in the spring. The wild Steelhead at this time come in all colours. The males usually are darker than the females. Some fish have been in the river all winter and some have just come in. You don’t know which ones you are going to catch. Just “kiss em” all and let em go!
