How does banner advertising work?

As an advertiser, your ad, or "banner," will appear randomly at the top of CyberAngler's most popular Web pages.  CyberAngler users will be able to "click" on your ad and be taken to your Web site.  The rest is up to you.

What is an impression?

Each time your banner appears on the top of a CyberAngler page it counts as one impression. Our banners ads are sold "per impression". So, you pay each time your ad is seen by a user.

How will I know how my ad campaign is performing?

CyberAngler provides all banner advertisers with their own private "status and statistics" page.  When you begin advertising on CyberAngler, you will be given a user name and password to privately access your current account status.  You will be able to view up-to-the-minute data on your banner ad campaign including the total number of impressions as well as the number and ratio of click-throughs (the number of times someone has "clicked" on your banner).

Is the banner included?

For advertising purchases of $500 or more, custom banner design is included.  Otherwise, our art dept. can make your custom banner for $50.

Can I choose which pages my banner appears on?

Yes. You can reserve particular pages or sections of CyberAngler so that your banner is the only one being displayed. See the section on Specific Page/Section Rotations.

What if I don't have a Web page, can I still advertise on your banners?

Yes, and there are several ways to approach this situation.  First, we can design a your Web page for as little as $149; or if you purchase $500 worth of banner ads, we will include a custom designed Web page for your product or service at no additional cost.  Lastly, if you don't want a Web page, you can design the banner ad to display all of the necessary contact information - in which case no Web page is needed. 

Can I use my own "animated" banner?

Yes, most advertisers provide us with their banner. As long as the file size of the graphic does not exceed the 12K, you may use any type of image you like.
