Competition can sometimes bring out the best in people, and fishing is no exception. A great example is the multitude of charity fishing events. Across the world, fishermen are coming together for the benefit of some very worthwhile causes. At CyberAngler, we encourage your participation in fishing tournaments - especially those where the winners may not be participants.

Dunnellon little league annual saltwater fishing tournament

April 19, 2014 - Dunnellon, Florida

Saltwater fishing tournament to help raise money for our little league. We are a non- profit organization that operates on sponsors, donations & volunteers. Our park is not city or county maintained. Categories & payouts based on 30 boats. - Largest redfish $500 - largest trout $500 - largest bag $1000. Entry fee is $100 if signed up by April 11, 2014. After that it's $125. Captains meeting, calcuta, cake auction & raffle will be April 18th @ the Dunnellon little league complex @ 6:30.

May 9-10, 2014 - Marathon, Florida

A festive one day fishing tournament for heaviest dolphin to benefit Habitat for Humanity of the Middle Keys. Registration fees are considered a tax deductible donation to Habitat. $15,000 in cash and prizes.

Everglades Non Native Fish Round Up

May 17, 2014 - South Florida, Florida

The Round Up will be a one day event open to all anglers (shore or boat) fishing in the Everglades area. PRIZES will be awarded for largest fish (not including Snakehead), largest Snakehead, largest aggregate catch (not including Snakehead), largest aggregate catch of Snakehead only, and will include a junior division.
