Fishing Tournaments

Competition can sometimes bring out the best in people, and fishing is no exception. A great example is the multitude of charity fishing events. Across the world, fishermen are coming together for the benefit of some very worthwhile causes. At CyberAngler, we encourage your participation in fishing tournaments - especially those where the winners may not be participants.

Suncoast Tarpon Roundup

May 14 - July 22, 2016 - Tampa Bay Area, Florida

The Suncoast Tarpon Roundup is a ten week, 24/7 all-release tarpon fishing tournament, promoting sportsmanship, research, and education. With six divisions there is something for everyone. Help support the Pediatric Cancer Foundation and have some fun fishing for the gamest fish in town....Megalops Atlanticus!

Point Pleasant Elks Fluke Tournament

July 23, 2016 - Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey

Tournament will have two divisions, Power Boat with $10,000 in prize money. Entrance fee is $145 per boat with 4 anglers, $25 for each added angler. Kayak division with product prizes. Fee is $50 per angler. Award picnic to follow the fishing on day of tournament. Picnic tickets will be available for friends of anglers at a nominal price. Captains Meeting will be held on July 22nd.

To benefit Wounded Warriors of South Florida. $100 per boat, up to 4 people including Capt and crew, $25 ea addl, gets free dinners x 2 nights. Jr anglers under 12, fish for free. $2,500 in Prizes for largest bonito. 2 Calcutta for dolphin & edible bottom fish. CDBIA’s 4th Annual SWFL Rockin’ and Reelin’ Inshore/Offshore Fishing Tournament

September 16-17, 2016 - Charlotte, Florida

This is a point system fishing tournament that will take place in Charlotte Harbor. Fish are valued and given points and a mystery fish is drawn the night of the Captain’s meeting. The event will begin Friday evening with the start of the Captain’s meeting. Minimum of 2 anglers per boat for the Inshore tournament at $350 and 4 anglers for Offshore tournament at $550.
