Competition can sometimes bring out the best in people, and fishing is no exception. A great example is the multitude of charity fishing events. Across the world, fishermen are coming together for the benefit of some very worthwhile causes. 14th Annual Kingfish Shootout

August 5-6, 2017 - Carrabelle, Florida

C-Quarters Marina will be hosting the 14th Annual Kingfish Shootout. This Shootout is a fund raiser for the Leukemia Research Foundation. Over $865,000 has been raised for research in the past 13 years. Guaranteed Payout of $20,000. Visit the website for all the information.

AustinBlu Land and Sea Fishing Tournament

August 5, 2017 - Jupiter, Florida

The tournament will include two competitions running side by side to accommodate all anglers: A Release Competition and a Harvest Competition. Anglers may participate in BOTH competitions! The tournament will benefit the AustinBlu Foundation and will raise awareness about the importance of boater safety on the water.

August 18-19, 2017 - stuart, Florida

5th Annual Treasure Coast Bonito Blast, Port Salerno on August 19th. Entry fee is still only $100, includes 4 anglers and all you can eat dinner 18th and 19th. Weigh in at Twisted Tuna. Captainís Meeting and Award Party at Manatee Bar and grill. $2,500 in prize money for 1st, 2nd, 3rd biggest bonito. Calcutta will be for Dolphin and EBFF.
