Lake Eufaula, Alabama

Lake Eufaula - Freshwater Fishing Report

Lake Eufaula, Alabama
Walter F. George Reservoir

Lake Lever N/A at report time
Clarity Clear to heave stain
Temp: low 50"s

Bass fishing has slowed some as the water temperatures continue to drop. Very slow presentations are producing some bass. Cover where pads were and grassy banks are holding bait fish.

Crappie are getting hotter every day. The trolling with jigs tipped with minnows are producing some good sized fish. The night fishermen are doing well under the causeways and bridges.

Catfish are really doing well on cut bait and shad. Below the dam they are having a ball with the bigger cat's.

Hybrids are working on the crappie fishermen trolling faster than the crappie like the bait presented. These fish are really fun on light tackle.

Remember to dress warm and in layers. Take plenty of water and wear your life jacket. Cold weather fishing can be fun if you prepare for it and stay comfortable.

Visit us at S & K outdoors on North Eufaula Avenue when in Eufaula, Alabama. We will have live bait after the first of the year. Keep up with the Lee King Benefit Tournament and e=ways you can be a part of the cure for the Niemann-Pick disease kid's.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

God Bless & Good Fishn'
Capt. Sam Williams
