Lake Eufaula - Freshwater Fishing Report

Water Clarity - Stained to clear
Water Temperature - Low to Mid 50's
Water levels still remain low, fishing is great.
Dress warm, in layers so you can shed cloths as the morning warms up. With hunting season in full force, the lake is wide open to the serious fisherman
Bass are hitting jigs and Texas rigs. Green's are a good choice as is purple.. Lipless and lipped cranks are doing the trick. Trolling these fairly fast on top of ledge drops are producing. Bouncing spinners baits work also.
Crappie are up and hitting well on trolling rigs in the morning after the sun gets up high and mid afternoon to evening.
Cats are still biting and if you troll a lipless bait close to the bottom early to mid morning, the cats will nail it.
