Lake Eufaula - Freshwater Fishing Report

Level 187.109 msl
Clarity Stained, dirtier in back of creeks
Temperature mid to upper 70's
Bass are getting active with the full moon, feeding on shad early in shallows, jig's on first drop is working later in the morning.
Crappie are slow with the stained water, minnows are taking nice ones drifting or trolling slow.
Cat fish are beginning to spawn and are hitting anything in the shallows right now.
Blue gills are in the grass and hitting crickets and worms. Work a bank line until you find a hole and sit on it and work close to the grass and cover.
The cooler weather is slowing everything down again, when the sun comes out and it begins to warm up, the fish become active . Watch the birds and the shad activity for signs of where to fish.
The Lee King tournament is coming up in June. Visit www.leekingbenefit.ors for ways to help us find a cure for Niemann-pick disease and also enter the tournament. We are about half way through flight 2. Help us reach our goal of 200 boats. Join us for a fun weekend and celebrate what God has provided for us.
God Bless & Good Fishn'
