Lake Eufaula - Freshwater Fishing Report

Level 185.87 msl
Temp. 88+
Clarity Clear to slight stain
The mornings are great at day break, it really stays nice if the clouds are present, when the sun breaks through, it gets hot in a hurry. Be sure and keep plenty of sun screen and water with you. The fish are continuing to bite up in the day if you will work at it.
Bass are holding in the cover in the creeks. The top water bite is early and quick. Keep working the area with a jig or Texas rig. Work the bait slow.
Pan fish are slow, work the edges where you find blow downs and tree tops in the water. There are still some May fly's here and there. Look for them around the edges in the bush.
Cat fish are going to make a good fishing day most anytime. Find a shady spot with some bottom cover or a drop in casting distance and sit back and relax.
Visit www.leekingbenefit.org and sign up for a day of fishing with Tim Horton or Keith Pochet. Make a tax deductible donation and help us find a cure for our terminal Niemann-Pick children.
God Bless & Good Fishn'
