Lake Eufaula - Freshwater Fishing Report

Lake Elevation 188.30
Water Temperature Low to mid 70's
Water Clarity Clear to slight stain
The water level is holding well. The shad and fish are in the grass and pads. Our threadfin hatch has been great and the game fish are in great shape.
Bass are hitting Sinko's and swimming Sinko's as well as Jigs around the cover. Frog's and top water baits are also working well. We to the shallow bite slows, move to the shallower ledges and work deep cranks and Carolina rigs.
Crappie are doing well if you locate deeper trash piles. Minnows and Jigs are the trick. There are some good slabs coming in.
Pan fish have slowed but are still being caught around bushes and blow downs on bank lines.
Cat fish are getting hotter by the day. Jug fishing with cut bait are getting some really nice sized ones. Up in the creeks, out of the wind is a good place to work the jugs.
The cooler weather will make it more comfortable to be on the water. Keep plenty of sunscreen and water, watch for the stumps and enjoy your time on the water.
