Lake Eufaula, Alabama

Capt. Sam Williams
April 16, 2015
Lake Eufaula - Freshwater Fishing Report

Water Level 187.56 msl
Water Temperature mid 60's
Water Clarity Stained

Cold fronts and rain have made fishing conditions less than desirable this week. The rain has caused the water levels to remain stable.

Bass are in the cover, bladed baits, jig's and soft baits are getting some good fish.

Crappie are trying to move in the grass. Shallow minnows under a float and jig's are doing the trick. Some nice slabs ate being caught. Trolling is still working near the creel ledges.

Hybrids are hitting the crappie jig's while trolling. This is really exciting on light tackle.

Blue gill and Shell crackers are doing well on worms and crickets. They are also on the bank cover.

Eufaula is really hot for the fishermen right now, be safe , keep plenty of sun screen and water. Enjoy God's creation and eat plenty of fish.

Please be sure and visit www.alabamachildrensclassic.org. and help us support the children while they are being treated at Children's Hospital in Birmingham. The kid's come from all over the world. Fish our June 13 tournament, $10,000.00 guaranteed purse, this is to benefit the COA as well.

God Bless & Good Fishn'
Capt. Sam
