Lake Eufaula - Freshwater Fishing Report

Lake Eufaula, Alabama
Water Level 187.98
Water Temperature upper 80's
Water Clarity Stained to dirty
The cooler weather has makes staying on the water a lot more bearable.
Bass are still holding deep after the sun gets up. Large Texas rigs, Carolina rigs and jig's with big trailers are working. The shore cover has good bait fish and the bass are eating early and late.
Crappie are also holding on deep trash cover and are in 8 to 16 feet. Jigs are okay if the wind is down. If the wind gets up, minnows will let you feel the bite better.
Bluegill's are under the overhangs on banks and crickets are doing their job.
Catfish are still hot in the creeks. Cut bait is best. Some really big ones are coming out of Barbour Creek as well as off of Old Creek Town Park.
Enjoy your time on the water and be safe. Keep water and sunscreen with you.
Pray for our military and our nation.
God Bless & Good Fishn'
Capt. Sam
