Lake Eufaula - Freshwater Fishing Report

Water Level 189.25
Water Surface Temperature Low 70's
Water Clarity Heavy Stain
The river level remains up leaving good water under cover which makes punching that cover very productive. When the sun get's up the bait fish retreat under this cover, pan fish and bass will be feeding on them. Be sure and peg your weight to the hook or the bait will separate from the weight and just hang shallow.
Top water bite is very effective now, the frog bite is working all day over the thicker cover, slow down in small open pockets.
Jigs are doing well on the outside of the cover.
The bream are staging on the flats now, Crappie are getting ready to go to the deep trash piles.
Catfish are always cooperative, jug fishing with cut bait is fun and keeps the kid's from getting bored.
Please visit www.alabamachildrensclassic.org and see the many ways you can support the children and families while they are being treated at Children's Hospital in Birmingham, AL. Kid's from all over the world are treated here. Fishermen, Join us for the tournament on June 3.
God Bless & Good Fishn'
