Capt. Sam Williams
August 28, 2018
Lake Eufaula - Freshwater Fishing Report

Water Level 189.68 msl
Water Temperature mid 80's
Water Clarity stained to clear

Bass are hitting shallow early and late, normal pattern for this time of year.Frogs and spinner baits in the pad's. Deep fish are hitting crank baits and big jig's and Carolina rig's on structure and fish attractors.

Crappie are in deep water on structure. Jig's are the answer.

Shell crackers are on the beds in the flats. Worms and crickets will do the job.

Blue gills are holding on the banks under brush and cover.

Cat fish are doing well on jugs. We have had several over 8 1/2 pounds in the creeks lately. Cut bait is best.

Be safe, watch for the storm and keep hydrated. Enjoy your time on the water.

Visit www.alabamachildrensclassic.org and get your chance for the Henry Golden Boy Rifle and the Power Pole.

God Bless & Good Fishn'
Capt. Sam
