Capt. Sam Williams
August 7, 2019
Lake Eufaula - Freshwater Fishing Report

Water level 189.53 msl
Water Temperature Mid 80's
Water clarity slight stain to clear

Bass are holding tight early and late to shallow cover, feeding on bait fish. Top water early , frogs and blade baits are working. When this presentation slows, work the edges of the same cover with chatter baits and soft plastics slowly on the bottom. Locate the trash piles and attractors deep and work these areas with deep cranks and Carolina rigs.

Crappie are holding on man made cover in 20 feet and less. It has also been reported of some good numbers being taken up the creeks around fallen trees near the banks. Minnows are the bait of choice lately.

Pan fish are holding along the brush covered banks. Crickets and wigglers are working here.

Catfish are working on jugs with cut bait in the creeks and mouth of the creeks in the river.

Please visit www.alabamachildrensclassic.org and sigh up for our news letter and support our causes by purchasing your chance on the Henry Golden Boy rifle and the Power Pole.

God Bless & Good Fishn'
Capt. Sam
