Lake Eufaula - Freshwater Fishing Report

Water Temperature - 50's
Clarity- stained to clear
The Chattahotchee is rebounding, the fish are healthy and with the lower water levels, the spring vegetation growth will make the river a hot spot again this spring. Plan a trip and enjoy the fun and remember to eat some of the smaller bass.
Bass are hitting well. Slow moving soft plastics, jigs and Texas rigs are working. Trolling hard baits is very exciting on the ledge drops in the creeks. You never know what you are going to reel in. We are catching Bass, Crappie, Hybrids and even a Catfish as we come up the drops.
Pam fish are really slow during the colder weather.
Catfish are cooperating for the relaxed fisherman Find some trash or bottom cover, throw out the anchor and let the bait sit on the bottom. Take along a good book and plan to read, that will always bring on a bite.
Pray for the family of Jimmy McMillan from Belle Glade, Florida. Jimmy was taken from us during a robbery of his grocery store early in January. Jimmy fished the pro trail and will be missed by all of us.
Please visit www.leekingbenefit.org and register for the 2012 event. We are praying to reach the 200 teams for the first time in 13 years. Lee went to be with our Lord last February. Let's make this goal of 200 in his honor. We appreciate your continued support
God Bless & Good Fishn'
