Mike Walker
September 3, 2016
Lay Lake - Freshwater Fishing Report

Coosa River Guide Service on Lay Lake bass guide Joey Nania reports bass fishing is slow. Flipping and pitching are producing a good number of smaller fish. 1-3 pounds, while the big fish bite is slow. Striped bass guide Jeremy Veitch reports that the striped bass bite is slow, but will pick back up as we start to cool off. Live bait and trolling have produced decent numbers.
