It's been a great two weeks for bass fishing on Lay Lake says Coosa River Guide Service's Joey N. Fall offers anglers some of the best topwater action in the state. With largemouths moving in and spotted bass grouped up in wolf packs. The time to go fishing is now! The last two or three days has been slow for topwater. We had two different major pressure changes back to back and it affected the bite. Power fishing is the best option to tackle water during this time of year. Cover as much ground as possible.
