Orange Beach - Saltwater Fishing Report

Orange Beach Alabama Fishing

February is providing some beautiful warm weather and some cold weather. I actually prefer the cooler weather and the north wind for the big bull redfish action. We are catching bull redfish weighing from 18 - 28 pounds on light spinning tackle and by trolling. This is an absolute blast with light tackle fishing. These fish are found just off the beaches of Orange Beach. These big redfish should be around until late March.

Offshore fishing for bottomfish is good with catches
of vermillion snapper, white snapper, amberjack and triggerfish.

Cobia, Spanish mackerel and king mackerel should begin to show in mid March.

Come join us on the Getaway for some winter Orange Beach fishing

Captain Don

Target Species:

redfish, cobia, amberjack, vermillion snapper, triggerfish
