Orange Beach - Saltwater Fishing Report
November was full of action on the waters off Orange Beach and Gulf Shores, Alabama. We caught nice king mackerel and bull redfish during the entire month of November. As December approaches, the bull redfish fishing should improve.
The cooler temps and north wind is just the very thing that attracts the big bull redfish. The typical north wind is blocked by land and condos and therefore creates the perfect environment for fun, relaxing fishing for big bull reds. This fishing takes place within 2 miles off the beach and sometimes just a few hundred yards off the beach. Enjoy casting jigs with light spinning tackle into a big school of reds. We also troll for these giant fish. You can usually expect to catch fish weighing from 20 to 30 pounds each. Now that is fun. These fish should be around till late March but December and January should be the best months to hang into a big bull. Come join us for some great Orange Beach and Gulf Shores, Alabama winter fishing for bull redfish.
