Gulf Coast Fishing Report - Orange Beach

Capt. Don McPherson
February 8, 2007
Orange Beach - Saltwater Fishing Report

Orange Beach fishing

Mid February is approaching and the weather is changing a bit. It was 70 degrees yesterday. Seas 1-2

feet. The redfish bite is still on along the beaches of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. There was a good catch of scamp, grouper, white snapper and a couple of keeper amberjack that came in a couple of days ago on another boat. We are just now getting some good offshore fishing weather.

We are still updating the inside of the Getaway but we are taking small steps where the boat is always ready to go fishing. We will be fishing till February 15th and then My wife and I are off to Quepos Costa Rica for a vacation before the busy season begins here in Orange Beach, Alabama. We will return February 22nd. I will be fishing again on Feb 23rd. I will have my cell phone and email daily, so give me a call.Let's go fishing.
