Mid August is here and the red snapper bite is really good. 6 and 8 hour trips are great for red snapper and king mackerel. The 8 hour fishing charters in Orange Beach are also producing a few triggerfish in addition to the red snapper. These are great half day Alabama fishing charters right here in Orange Beach Alabama near Gulf Shores. The 12 hour Orange Beach deep sea fishing charters are still producing variety including red snapper, scamp, grouper, vermillion snapper, white snapper and sometimes grouper, amberjack or wahoo. It is primetime for offshore trolling. Several white marlin have been caught and relaesed in the past few weeks. An occassional sailfish has been caught. Dolphin are being caught offshore along with wahoo.
