Orange Beach - Saltwater Fishing Report
Fishing Orange Beach, fishing Gulf Shores
Fall fishing is here and it is good. Marty and his wife had fished with us in May of 2007 on an awesome 12 hour trip. Marty came back with his dad and two friends and fished a 12 hour trip on Friday and a 6 hour trip on Saturday. Marty plans to come back with his wife in the winter and try the redfish trip. Thanks to Marty, family and friends. We all had a great time. And fishing ? Wow ! It had been a while since we fished a 12 hour trip. The bite was on and we experienced one of the best vermillion snapper bites I have experienced in some time. These four guys were reeling in vermillion snapper as fast as they could get the bait down. We also caught two nice amberjack and lost two nice ones. The red snapper bite was great as usual. And, oh yea, the big triggerfish. One grouper, scamp and king mackerel. The 6 hour trip was also very productive as everyone enjoyed a more relaxed trip of trolling nearshore and bottomfishing for a few red snapper after the 12 hour trip on the previous day.
