As Tennessee River waters continue to cool in North Alabama (and 2013 slowly comes to an end), the smallmouth bass just keep on getting bigger!
Wilson Lake and Pickwick Lake have recently produced trophy, 6-7 pound smallmouth bass with clients of Reeds Guide Service!
Everything from slow moving lures fished on or near bottom like crankbaits, tube baits, swim baits and jigs, to lipless lures, spinnerbaits and jerk baits! Even topwater lures may be the "big bass" ticket this week!
Water temps are currently on the rise, in the upper 40's to low 50's! Warmer next week!

Pickwick-Wilson Lakes Fishing Forecast:
* Last week, early December - Cold, upper 20 degree nights with daytime highs in the upper 40's to low 50's. Water temps dropped into the low 40's.
* This weekends forecast - Warm nights in the mid 50's, coupled with warm daytime highs in the upper 60's, followed by heavy rain and thunderstorms Saturday night into Sunday. This will turn on any wintertime bass! Make plans to be there! Water tempss will soar into the mid-to-upper 50's!
* Christmas and New Years Day long range weather
