I'd like to start by saying thanks to everybody that showed up at the tournament. I was hoping for a bigger turnout then we had, but I was reminded that you can't get to the top of the stairs without starting with the first one. So with that in mind, we will be having another one something in December or January. It was a close finish at the tournament with only a couple tenths separating first and second place. While first place payed $380, it was second place winner and Striper Club member Brain Farley that really cleaned up. Brain ended up in second place, but also won the big fish prize and the prize for top striper club angler. In all Brain left with $220 and about $700 worth of equipment including two new reels, tackle, and sunglasses. I'd also like to thank Speegle's Marina for allowing us to use their site and having plenty of bait available. Harold said he'd be happy to have us back, so I don't see why we won't be back.
