Greers Ferry - Freshwater Fishing Report

Subject: Fw: report greers ferry lake







Water level at greers ferry lake is at 455.66 that is 5.37 feet below normal pool of 461.03 and rising,the water temp is in the mid 40's and falling.





The black basses are scattered and eating a variety of baits, crank baits are working on 45 degree banks as usual , small crank baits and spinner baits are working in shallow guts, the Arkansas claw is working on suspended deeper fish off of points and the middle of deeper guts, as well as spoons and jerk baits, the fish on the bottom are eating football heads and c-rigs.

The crappie are eating minnows and jigs in about 15 feet of water around timber and brush piles.

The walleye have slowed some what on the rising water but should get better after the rain gets cleared up.

No-report on catfish.

The hybrid and white bass are eating spoons, hair jigs, in-line spinners and swim baits all over the lake find the shad and the fish will be close by.

No report on bream.
