Greers Ferry - Freshwater Fishing Report

The white bass and hybrid bass are eating real well in 55-57 feet of water 50-100 fish days are possible, use in-line spinners and swim baits, white with chartreuse color is the best , remember wind is your friend, the turn over in the north part of the lake is subsiding and the rain and wind have re-oxygenated the bite has really picked up in the last few days, the bite on the lower end is going strong as well.

The crappie are slow during the day but the night bite is excellent using jigs tipped with minnows.

The black bass action is a lot better as well using traps ,crank baits, spinner baits and top water lures, the drop shot is working as well when the sun is high, small mouth are eating well in 6-12 feet on c-rigs.

Catfishing is good on rod and reel as well as any type of lines you can use baited with small bream and stink bait.

Bream fishing is good out to 27 feet on crawlers and crickets.

Walleye are scattered and biting on trolled crank baits in a shad patern and can be caught under the whites and hybrids.
