The fish and bait are arriving for the Summer

Long Island Sound - Saltwater Fishing Report

This past week has shown an incerease in the amount of baitfish and stripers in our waters. The fish are all between five and fifteen pounds. There are some squid starting to show with some well over a foot long. On the way back to the dock I passed several schools of small bait. That should bring the bass in a bit closer to shore.

More Fishing Reports:

We do fly fishing and light tackle trips out of Stonington, CT. We fish the Watch Hill Reefs as far East as Newport, RI out to Montauk in the fall and West to the Connecticut River. We also cover the Race, the Sluiceway and Plum Gut. Depending on the time of the year we will be looking for Striped Bass, Bluefish, Bonito, False Albacore and Bluefin Tuna. On our trips we can provide everything except food and clothing.
