Long Island Sound - Saltwater Fishing Report

Busy weeks ahead for the Kingfisher

Will have a hard time finding time to write detailed reports for the next few weeks. Sorry in advance to anyone I miss. Regular customer/friend George Chase came out in sloppy conditions and a tough bite for one striper but did well with the fluke. Roberts group sat. morning limtied out (stripers to 45") and also did well on the fluke. Sunday same as friday SLOW, did get the fish of his life with a 48" cow striper. Monday, Rick and Matt Gavin came out on they're yearly trip and boated 5 stripers from 35" to 45" and a bunch of hard fighting blues. The rest of the week is booked so we'll see how things go. I am expecting great things!

Kingfisher Charters will provide fishing excitement that is customized for you and your group. We will personally discuss with you the type of trip that best suits your needs and desires. From the beginner to the advanced we offer fishing adventures other boats can't match.. A typical full day trip can take you light tackle casting, to live bait fishing, then to deep water trolling for striped bass, bluefish, and fluke. We specialize in live bait fishing for trophy sized bass in shallow water.
