Fishing has been hot!

Golfito - Saltwater Fishing Report

Sorry for the delay in reports. Was just down running the boat myself. Internet service isn't the best if you don't have your own computer with you.

After having one of the best Marlin bites in years our sails have moved in en-force. Be hind the full moon they were tough. But, we are seeing well over 20 each day with some marlin still around. Missed a really nice stripe on monday around 150. All the sails have been big fish from around 80-135. The only thing missing has been the dorado bite. They have been scarce to say teh least.

Inshore fishing has been excellent up until this full moon. That shut them down but as we get to the new it should pick up again.

Golfito Fishing Forecast:

I expect this seaon to continue to be excellent. Everything has been late becuase of La Nina, but know that we are in to the action and it should go until May.....don't forget the peak for inshore starts in May and goes until July. Pura Vida!
