Golfito - Saltwater Fishing Report

The 08'-09' season is well underway here . Plenty of blue and black MARLIN , along with good sized dorado offshore. These are only 7 -10 miles offshore.
Things will only get better. Sails are around, not in thick yet, but enough to keep things popping.
Yellowfin and bigeye farther offshore, but they will come closer as the water warms.
We are having more and more days of complete sunshine, so it won't take long for the temps. to creep up a few notches.
Roosters and snappers inshore. Corvina are done spawning , and have flattened out.
Snook being caught in the river and out in the 'boca' (rivermouth) with more frequency.
Some really good ones being taken from the beach on un-painted cedar plugs.
Shoot me a note with your charter requests, and I'll put together your itinerary for this years trip !!
Merry Christmas ! Capn Bob
