Costa Rica Fishing report for December

Capt. Mark Janzen
January 23, 2014
Quepos - Saltwater Fishing Report

After such a great November we had high hopes for December and the upcoming season to start up, as well as awaiting the arrival of Santa and the New Year.

Top Fishing Reports

What a topic for December and a hard one to try to get done, but there is just no way of picking a top report as there are so many great ones. Again there were multiple Grad Slams in Los Suenos and Quepos, as well as a few close calls. Sailfishing has started to pick up to where we would like and more as the Sailfish start to pick up and there still have been alot of Marlin as well.

Fishing Forecast

Fishing Forcast for the new year is already looking good with the Sailfish numbers on the rise and the weather will start to stay more steady and the rain will almost completely disapear, well after the big one we got on New Years eve... Thats 2 years in a row now we have had rain New Years eve.

Tight From Quepos, Costa Rica we will see you in the New Year
