Quepos - Saltwater Fishing Report

The sailfish bite has been awesome in March. Most days are producing 10 - 20 sailfish behind the boat and some days more. A few slow days have raised 7 - 10 sails. A few occasional blue marlin have bee caught. Dorado ( mahi mahi) have also been caught but this bite has been much slower in March. A few smaller rooster fish have been caught on half day Quepos Fishing charters. The very popular Offshore World Championship will take place in Quepos, Costa rica from April 7th - 10th, 2014. This is an awesome event with anglers from all over the world. Our boats, Big Eye and Big Eye II will be participating again this year. The excitement is building in Costa Rica as the date gets closer. There were over 800 sailfish caught and released by 68 charter boats last year in 4 days during the Offshore World Championship. Join us in April for the excitement. Book your own fishing charter and have some fun.
