Quepos Fishing Report August

Quepos - Saltwater Fishing Report


Here at Quepos fishing has been host to so many anglers this green season. Anglers that have fished with us have been rewarded July and into August with Marlin where we were averaging 2 Marlin released per boat. As we moved further into August the bottomfishing was keeping anglers on Amberjack with daily. Wahoo have resurfaced in daily catches Justin Mitchell had 5 Wahoo total in a halfday Offshore

and the Sailfish Releases have been consistently 2-3 per charter throughout the month.

Quepos Fishing Forecast:

September and October both promise to continue to be hot. There is lots of debris in the water and Dorado bite should be terrific. The inshore fishing has been terrific for Roosterfish and Snapper with most of the recent trips being rewarded with some big Roosterfish 60-75 lbs
