Quepos - Saltwater Fishing Report

Fishing here in Quepos remains great though the green season. Lots of anglers taking advantage of the low pricing for spectacular fishing. August 7 clients headed offshore on 2 boats, the first returning with a 600+ lb. black Marlin on for a fight, the release of 2 Sailfish and a Yellowfin Tuna which provided shashimi for dinner, the second boat returned with the release of 2 Sailfish. Clients fishing to the North just 18 miles on August 4 releasing 8 Sails for the day and a 50+ lb. Dorado. Stephen Pociask fishing offshore on the 3rd of August released 2 Sailfish and 11 Amberjacks providing lots of fishing action. Ben Hutson fishing on the first of August releasing 2 Sailfish offshore and had 13 Amberjacks. The boys had a great day today.
