Quepos - Saltwater Fishing Report

Well the reports of late have been reminiscent of the reason I fell in love with Quepos. Over 9 years ago having arrived on vacation with friends who went fishing everyday while I discovered Pineapple Patches in a countryside rich with History, Culture and Diversity of topography. The boys convinced me to come fishing with them. Having never been offshore before I was amazed and returned to the pier in much need of a massage as we released 17 Sailfish that day. Needless to say I was Hooked. Well the reports for clients of Quepos Fishing www.queposfishing.com have been much like that day with Captains hooking up our anglers with Double Digits on Sailfish and now Mahi Mahi back in the mix which were relatively non existent for a while there. We fished offshore a few days ago and the free jumpers have been abundant swinging around and bringing them in with 3 and 4 Sails in the Spread. Raised 19 Sailfish and Released 11 of them with a Triple Hook-up at 3:30. My newest favorite clients Roy Field and Rod Shantz have fished 3 days so far with Multiple Hook-ups and ending days with 10 Sailfish, Yellow Fin Tuna, Cubera Snapper and Roosterfish.
