Tarpon Fishing @ Rio Colorado Lodge Is Hot...Hot...Hot...

Rio Colorado - Saltwater Fishing Report

Jeff Burbank fished one day with Rio Colorado Lodge and jumped 14 tarpon. He boated 2 of those jumped, each weighing 130 plus lbs.

Bruce Luscomb & Leonard Schelsky of Oregon jumped 44 in 2 days, and boated 7 between 120 - 130 lbs.

Tom Folsom, Tom Gerlach and Mark WOlf jumped 29 tarpon, they boated 10 between 70 - 170 lbs. They caught several other species including a 12 lb snook.

Bill Rust of Bonita Springs, FL fished 2 1/2 days and jumped 5 tarpon, boating 3.

Deane Metcalf & Sara Crump of Clinton, AL jumped 19 tarpon and boated 1 about 100lbs.

Michael O'Connor and Arthur Rouse in 3 days jumped 25 tarpon, boated 5 between 30 - 160 lbs.

All the tarpon were jumped within a 6 day period February 8 - 14.
