Tarpon fishing still good!

Capt. Dan Wise
March 4, 2010
Rio Colorado - Saltwater Fishing Report

We've had really good fishing for both Tarpon and Snook so far this year. We have had a couple of cold fronts that came in with rain, but they are short lived so every now and then a couple of slow fishing days mixed in with many red hot days.

Among several anglers visiting this past week, Takehiro Nokano visited us from Japan wanting to catch his first tarpon. In less than 4 days, he had jumped 24 and boated 3 along with some Jack Crevalle.

The Rio Colorado Lodge is remotely located on the Caribbean Coast of Costa Rica, nestled in Costa Rica's ropical jungle where the Colorado River flows into the Caribbean Sea.  Here you'll experience the world's best tarpon and snook fishing as well as a multitude of light tackle game fish.
