Tamarindo - Saltwater Fishing Report
The Chris Reid group had a stellar day on Nov. 11, fishing on calm seas out in front of Tamarindo, Costa Rica. Fishing on Capullo, our 36' Topaz, with Capt. Manuel Leal and mates Cheyenne Rosales and Luis Rosales, the Reid group caught a 35 lb. dorado first thing in the morning.
Around mid-morning they found a group of spinner dolphins and caught a total of 8 yellowfin tuna in the 40 lb. range. Later in the morning they caught another dorado and a sailfish.
In the afternoon they caught another sailfish, then caught and released a 350 lb. blue marlin. All in all, excellent fishing no matter where you are, with a total of 8 tuna, 2 dorado, 2 sailfish and a nice blue.
