Stripers on the Feed - We had Mike out for a morning trip out in Jamaica Bay. We found the bass chewing on live bait. We also had some troliing. We each kept a fish and released the rest. Should be a good spring run with plenty of bait to hold the fish thier.

Stripers Are in Jamaica Bay - We did a scouting trip to Jamaica Bay yesterday. we found tons of bunker in the bay. after snagging a few for bait we live lined them and had a decent pick of stripers under the pods. water temp was 45 degrees. should be a good opener on april 15th!

Pickeral on the Feed - We had john and his son out for an afternoon trip on a local lake. it was 30 degrees so we fished in the shallows where the water would be a little warmer. we cast small rapalas for good action on pickerals on a cold and blustery day.

Stripers on Fire in Moriches - We Had Dan and his freinds out for a 1/2 day trip out of moriches. we found birds working bait in the inlet. the guys had a blast catching bass and blues on lite tackle. get em while they're hot!

Nice Mixed Bag for Ray - We had ray out for a nice mixed bag day of fishing. he had action with porgys,blowfish, triggerfish, blues and stripers along with some sea bass.all in the bay. the ocean was still too rough due to HERMINE. plenty of bait in our area should bode well more... Franks 1st Mako - WE had Frank and his freinds out for a shark trip they had a blast tagging and releasing thier 1st mako. a bigger mako came into the slick later on but wouldnt eat our baits. shark fishing hot off long island - we had 12 yr old jack and his dad out for a day of shark fishing. this was 12 yr old jacks 1st shark trip so he was anxcious to get his 1st shark. he wasnt disappointed. he fought a nice 150 lb thresher shark. after some quick photos we tagged and re more... Fluke Action Hot on North Shore - We had peter along with his sons out for a day of fluking out of PT.JEFF. We had nonstop action with mostly shorts along with tons of serobins to keep the rods bending all day long. they managed 7 nice keepers. the fish were feeding on sand eels, cra more... Capt.
