Spotted Sea Trout Still Biting

Capt. Bob Chase
March 1, 2012
Amelia Island - Saltwater Fishing Report

It may be a result of our mild winter this year or maybe it's something else, but who cares ?? The bottom line is that the Spotted Trout are definitely hungry! Water temps. are in the low to mid 60's and the weather is slowly but surely turning for the better. Live shrimp fished under popping corks or on jig heads are getting the job done. Fishing creek edges lined with Spartina on the last of the incoming tide has been keeping our clients on the fish. Come fishing with us and see for yourself!!
