Summer is here !!

Capt. Bob Chase

Amelia Island - Saltwater Fishing Report

With water temps. approaching the 80 degree mark, it's safe to say that the summer season is underway.
The mullet are cruising, so in turn, Tarpon are starting to make their appearance in the inlets and at the jettys. Follow the mullet schools and the Tarpon won't be far behind. The warmer the water gets from here, the better. Don't be afraid to try pogies or blue crabs, as well as mullet.
Redfish and Sea Trout have settled into their summer patterns. Early morning bites on topwater lures can be awesome this time of year.

We can also help you find local accomodations at one of the hotels or B&B's here on Amelia Island.

LET'S GO FISHING !!!

Amelia Island Fishing Forecast:

We expect a fantastic bait run this summer. Pogies are now here in large schools, and the shrimp are here in near record numbers. Bait fishing this summer should be outstanding.
