Stay flexible in February - It is hard to tell we are still in winter here in Anna Maria. Water temps are more like mid spring. As a result the fish are not in typical patterns for this time of year. To stay ahead of the game you have to be flexible.

Dock's and rocks in December - The wintertime bite is still very good in our area around Anna Maria. It is just a matter of finding the right dock or patch of rocks
that is holding the fish. Fresh shrimp is the ticket they do not even have to be live to work.

Variety is the name of the game! - Got a little lazy the last couple of trips instead of using shiners I bought ten dozen shrimp. Anytime the water temp drops into the mid sixties it seems the fish respond better to shrimp.
