Snook In The Glades

Capt. Brandon Henley
November 17, 2017
Big Pine Key - Saltwater Fishing Report

This time of year weather permitting I usually start trips into the Everglades for red hot snook, jack and tarpon action. The fishing has been fantastic and I love sharing this beautiful place with my guest.

Fly fishing for snook is a blast and my favorite flies include a white ep minnow and a pink and white seaducer. Pounding the mangroves at high tide is very productive in the fall. Double digit days on fly are almost guaranteed.
