Biscayne Bay

Capt. Mo Estevez
April 11, 2009
Biscayne Bay - Saltwater Fishing Report

4/11

Today I had two fine gentlemen from S.C. aboard, one of them being a Marine just back from his second tour in Iraq. It was my pleasure to pole these guys around today and put them on some bonefish. The bonefishing was tough in the morning although we had great conditions, calm winds and an early incoming spring tide. In the early afternoon the fish started moving better and we spent the rest of the afternoon taking shots at a good number of bones, mostly single fish but almost all were big double digit fish, including a few in the 13-14 lb range.

Getting these big fish to eat is always a challenge but that is why it is so exhilirating when you do hook and land a double digit fish.

Get the boat tuned up and hit the water, make those drags scream and enjoy every minute you're out there!
