Biscayne Bay - Saltwater Fishing Report

With the weather warming up a bit have been finding some good numbers of fish moving back up on the flats of south Biscayne Bay as well as the flats to the keys north of Elliot. The overall mood of the fish really stars to change for the better as we move further into Spring, as the water temps get into their comfort zone making them more likely to chomp! Also with the warm weather you can make your start early at sunrise to look for those morning tailers!
Flamingo is also getting into the zone! Most of the outer islands are holding good numbers of redfish and snook. Plugging the shorelines of those islands is a good strategy. Midnight Chartruese Bass Assassins and DOA's have been working quite well and cant forget about flies, the Prince o Tides has been the Champ Lately. Well its just about that time of year we all have been waiting for, time to gear up and get out there. Got out this past week in Flamingo with Capt. Steve Tejera on a double charter, was a great time with great people! Capt. Steve had a stellar day with about 10 Reds and a nice slot Snook! You can't beat that kind of action, I know I didnt, hahahaha! Take care and catch em up!
