Boca Grande and Charlotte Harbor

Capt. Van Hubbard
December 6, 2006
Boca Grande - Saltwater Fishing Report

Merry Christmas.

We are still enjoying some great catching when we have fair weather.

Snook close next week and they are feeding up for winter. They are in warmer protected waters. While many are smaller some big ones are co operating too. We have some smaller reds and a few slot fish. Trout are closed and open the first of the year. Some pompano and mackerel are still migrating thru. Fishing is different every day just like the weather. Good conditions offer good fishing. The south winds are productive but it can slow when they shift to the northeast.

Please have a safe and very Merry Christmas. Sorry I had computer challenges and was off line awhile. Captain van Hubbard Let’s Go Fishin’ soon!
