Boca Grande and Charlotte Harbor

Capt. Van Hubbard
October 31, 2007
Boca Grande - Saltwater Fishing Report

Great fishing action right now.

Another great week of catching lots of fish.

We have enjoyed the warm weather and good fishing. The winds dictate where we fish and what we target.

We had a productive afternoon trip Saturday with a group from Tampa. They want to fish as a group and stay close together. It worked out fine and we even captured a slot snook and several other smaller ones. We had some other smaller fish and a wonderful day on the water. It was lucky for us the weather cooperated.

We have also been catching a lot of king and Spanish Mackerel recently in the near shore Gulf waters. The little tunny, ladyfish, sharks, and even tarpon have been jumping on our lines regularly too. Action has been great when winds let us get outside to fish.

Winds are blowing right now but predicted to back off for the weekend.

Let’s Go Fishin’ before Winter shows up. Captain Van Hubbard
